This is the Fortnite ban removal process when you are a popular streamer and have 6 million followers
Summit1g is a popular Twitch streamer who got banned from Fortnite a few hours ago.
Summit1g is by far one of the most popular Twitch streamers. His broadcasts are watched by an average of 18,000 people. The streamer spent the most time in GTA, but he also often plays Fortnite, where he has over 700 hours.
A few hours ago, the streamer left the match and saw a 24-hour ban. It’s hard to say for what, because there was absolutely nothing going on in his matches that could indicate any cheats.
What is the situation if you are a popular streamer?
It’s actually a situation that can happen to anyone – a system error picking up something it shouldn’t. In any event, the ban was imposed. Here is the exact moment of the ban:
The normal path, in this case, is to write to the support department. Summit1g chose a different solution. His colleague asked Epic to unban him by posting about the whole situation on his Twitter.
Within 20 minutes the streamer could play again.
Of course, Epic has to take care of such things, in particular, it was probably a bug. The streamer then tried to join the game and everything worked normally, although for 20 minutes he was unable to do so.
