This Fortnite skin can be free. This is known because Epic confused the names

Fortnite

Leakers have noticed Epic’s slip-up, which may suggest that players will soon have the opportunity to get one of the skins for free.

On March 11, there will be a special tournament for Playstation players where you will be able to win an ’emoji’. It’s not anything amazing, it’s actually so uninteresting that we wouldn’t normally mention it.

It’s just that Epic doesn’t mention emojis everywhere. One of the language versions had a slip-up. It’s also puzzling that Epic uses a very specific name on an emoji that just doesn’t match that particular cosmetic item.

How is the tournament connected with the skin?

As we read in the description of the tournament, the prize, in addition to money, will also be an emoji, which is called:

“Neo Versa”

The problem is that the emoji that Epic writes about has a completely different name. Developers probably meant:

“Give it up”

It was kind of weird right from the start. Because “Neo Versa” is the name of a skin, a very specific skin that was talked about some time ago:

You won’t just buy this skin in the Fortnite store. It is available in a set and relatively few people have it. At this point, it is worth mentioning that Epic recently added a backpack to the store, which used to be for free, and in recent months it was sold for a small price. It is similar here, only the other way.

The theory that the Neo Versa skin will be for free, however, had no confirmation. The name itself is not enough. The French version in the description of the tournament did not write about the emoji, but the skin.

The question is, did someone have a mishap – they used the wrong name, or is there really something going on and the Playstation will somehow encourage people to participate in the tournament?
