The biggest leaker confirms it. Epic is working on a first-person view for Fortnite’s Battle Royale

Fortnite

Leaks from a few months ago have been confirmed by the biggest leaker in the Fortnite world.

Epic will unofficially want to refresh the Battle Royale formula from time to time. The first such refresh was the introduction of the no build mode. The next one would be to separate the modes with the view from the third and first-person.

For Epic, the first-person view would not be such a big novelty. This is how you can play in STW mode, and no one thinks it’s amazing. Epic wants to bring this to BR as well.

Battle Royale first-person view

HYPEX writes that the files contained the first information about the mode from the first person perspective. There are no details yet, because apparently everything is at an early stage of design.

It is not known when this will be introduced, but it can be expected that Epic will actually want to refresh Fortnite in this way, and in particular, in Battle Royale. Perhaps this is a plan for the coming months, or maybe just for the next chapter.

The first-person view would definitely change the whole Battle Royale. The only question is whether the players are ready for the next splits, which in theory could lower the player pool and extend the queues. Eventually, more bots will start to appear in matches.
