It will be possible to play Fortnite without firearms. Epic will introduce 6 new melee items

There will be at least 6 new melee weapons in total in Fortnite.

Epic has already accidentally shown once that it wants to introduce a new device to Fortnite that allows you to “create your own weapons”. Of course, this is not so literal as players will have a choice of 6 different positions.

All this is due to a special device that is included in the files of the creative mode. It is very possible that this will also be implemented in the non-building and BR mode – there are swords in the files and more.

More melee weapons

It is known from leaks that the above-mentioned items include:

  • spear,
  • sledgehammer,
  • axe,
  • medieval sword
  • ninja sword,
  • ordinary sword.

Epic’s plans are unknown in this regard, but it’s easy to imagine that there will be a new item-crafting device in Creative Mode and the same items will be added to regular BR – be it as part of a mini-event or just like that.
