How many people really live on Fortnite Island? The population has increased since chapter 2

Have you ever wondered how many people live on Fortnite island?

In every single game, about 100 people land on the island, those according to the plot are stuck in a loop. However, this does not mean that these 100 people are all inhabitants of the island. In Season 2 of Chapter 2, players counted how many people live on the map.

How? All beds in the game have been counted. In total, there were about 200 of them. Of course, this is not the best, but the only way – the question is whether Epic even pays attention to how many beds it puts, or is it random.

The population on the island has increased

However, if Epic makes sure that the number of beds is proper, it is safe to say that the number of inhabitants has increased since the last chapter. At the moment, there will be a total of 242 people.

The only question is whether the beds are related to the story in any meaningful way – it may be that the people responsible for placing them do it randomly.

On the other hand, these few years of Fortnite development have shown that it is very rare for Epic to do something randomly and without any extra thought.
