How has the map changed in Fortnite after update 20.20? Epic doesn’t use its potential

Usually, the updates make a big difference to Fortnite Island, but not this season.

For some reason, Epic does not use the potential of airships. Virtually every season, developers changed where they are, be it due to earthquakes or other events on the island. It now seemed that the crash of the airships was the perfect pretext for change.

It is easy to imagine the damaged spots that suffered from the fall of airships. It would be coherent and meaningful. Locations could be rebuilt or transformed into something else.

Epic doesn’t do that at all

The map after the 20.20 update looks like this:

If you don’t see the changes, well – there is only one. The airship that fell is off the island.

There is nothing else, at least at a first, second, and third glance. Maybe Epic added some easter eggs or secrets, but the locations have remained the same so far, at least judging from the minimap.
