How did Epic spoil the fun for Fortnite leakers? There will be less leaks about such skins

Epic has always been choosing exactly which skins and items should be immediately available for leakers, and which not. But then that changed.

Fortnite leakers a few months ago discovered a way to bypass Epic security and reveal skins as well as other cosmetic items that developers did not want to show.

These are encrypted files that have quickly appeared on social media in their full glory for several updates. The Playstation security was to blame for this state of affairs.

This was repaired and the leakers were cut off

At this point, we went back to the version from a few months ago, when Epic could actually easily choose skins that leakers can reveal and those that must remain secret. What does it mean?

Don’t expect earlier presentations of cooperative skins – like yesterday’s one with Marshmello, or maybe in the future with Uncharted. The skins will only be revealed when Epic wants that.

On the one hand, it’s a pity, because it was always exciting. On the other hand, it might actually be better that some things remain to be a surprise until they are fully disclosed.
