Did epic forget even about the dialogues?

As Reddit users point out, Epic most likely forgot about special dialogue lines for the Order. As we read, he was in no way announced or introduced to the plot, he is not even included in the challenges.

The only question is why Epic approached the matter this way. Did something go bad along the way, or was he supposed to be a character without any storyline development from the beginning? It’s hard to say.
