Epic did bring an additional first-person view to Fortnite, but not where everyone expected it.
For many months, there has been talking in the Fortnite community that Epic plans to introduce a first-person view not so much to Fortnite itself, but in the Battle Royale mode.
The last update added a new option which is apparently the next step in bringing this view already into BR as well.
A new view in Fortnite
First-person view has arrived in Creative Mode. It looks very good and smooth. To set this, simply change the camera mode.
Fortnite itself will then move the camera to the “head” of the character. It just looks like a ready-made solution.
Now all you have to do is wait for the developers to decide to add it to Battle Royale as well. It is rather certain that it will come to that sooner or later.
