Epic plans to bring back something else, a Star Wars weapon that a lot of people liked

Epic clearly wants to return to chapter 2, not only with the map but also with items and weapons.

Epic really surprises in terms of what will be added to Fortnite. The developers obviously want to show that they really care about the older players. Today, a revolver may be restored to Fortnite, and lightsabers in the near future.

It’s hard to say whether it’s about some kind of collaboration, or maybe an event or game mode. In any case, leakers report that the updated lightsabers have indeed been re-added to the files.

Lightsabers will reappear in Fortnite

Lightsabers were added in update 19.10. They have been changed somewhat, opening up two main possibilities:

• They will simply be added to the game as part of a collaboration, event, update.
• Epic will create or introduce a pickaxe based on lightsabers.

At the moment, both of these versions are probable and unconfirmed. All that is known is that Epic has restored all the files needed to turn the lightsabers back on. The date they will be added to the game is unknown.
