Epic got pissed at Fortnite players who did this. It was fully banned

Epic has updated its policy, banning players from specific actions.

Epic very rarely bans something in Fortnite, and this time it just happened. It’s about misleading others with XP. Epic has concluded that players are exaggerating a bit when it comes to Creative and advertising their own maps.

Epic in its announcement informed that it prohibits placing “XP” on trailers and map thumbnails. According to the developers, this is misleading and suggests that you can get ridiculous amounts of experience on the maps.

Maps that do not adapt to the new rules must take into account automatic removal by Epic’s systems.

Opinions vary widely, but most players are happy that Epic is starting to work on thumbnails because these are sometimes really absurd.
