Epic gives Fortnite players 30 days to complete age verification or will delete accounts

Epic has stopped asking, now when logging in, it says that the player has 30 days to confirm their age.


This is something we already mentioned a dozen or so days ago. Epic originally sent out special e-mails to players informing them of the need for age confirmation. Today, many people saw this information when logging into Fortnite:

Players have 30 days to be verified. What is it about? There is a big problem here because one of the requirements is to provide credit card information.

Many countries have not yet received that information, although an option that it will be necessary worldwide does exist. At the moment, it is for NA players. It is possible that Epic will ship this to different regions sequentially.

The last screen is the worst because you need to enter your card or SSN here.

The worst thing is that Epic writes about account deletion, not its suspension. If a given player fails to attach their card or enter their SSN, their account will be deleted. The case is developmental because so far everything was based only on e-mail, now there is a notification in Fortnite.
