Do you remember the beginnings of Fortnite and the moment when Epic started to go a little crazier? Weird new mechanics were introduced, and some players laughed that only one was missing.

When Fortnite was just starting to develop and introducing new items every week, many people were laughing and even making memes that a tank should be introduced to Fortnite. Half of it happened – once a tank building was added to the Podium.

If you’re not sitting, you’d better sit down. In 2022, Epic is working on… A tank and its introduction to the game.

A tank in Fortnite

Little is known about the tank itself, but information about it is provided by HYPEX – a reliable source that is usually right. The appearance of the vehicle remains unknown, the code name is “TreadVehicle”, where “Tread” translates as trampling, crushing.

It will be something interesting for sure. It is not yet known whether it is a full-fledged tank or an armored or improved drill. For now, all this is at the design stage, perhaps adding to files as part of testing.

So far, it makes no sense to even think about a possible release date, because it is still far ahead of the players. In fact, however, you can already think of the tank as something that will come to Fortnite in some form.
