By now we’re used to the fact that before each Fortnite season there are rumors that it has been postponed or canceled altogether – it’s always fake.
Epic has actually postponed the start of seasons several times, while it was communicated in advance accordingly. This time, YouTubers are again fueling the theory of postponing the start date of the new season to mid-December.
According to them, Season 5 would start not at the beginning of December 2022, but only in the second half of this month – around December 18. Why? All because of specific challenges that end at this time.
Delaying the start of the season once again
This should be approached with a pinch of salt, or rather simply treated as a rumor. All because of one challenge, which ends in a total of six weeks.
Why is this happening? There are several reasons, while it’s probably a visual error that bears no relation to Epic’s plans for the end of the season. Yes, it may be misleading, but at this point there are no signs that the season in general will be postponed.
However, it is quite interesting that Epic writes on the official site that tasks will be available until the end of the season.
