After a few years, Epic may bring this mechanic back to Fortnite, along with a few items

According to leaks, Epic is preparing to restore one of the mechanics that has been present in the game for several years.

No-building mode allows Epic to add or restore a wide variety of items and mechanics. According to the most popular leakers, traps may return to Fortnite, but only for the no-building mode.

There is no point in counting on the fact that traps will appear in BR, unless the developers suddenly change their mind for some reason.

The main source of information on this topic is HYPEX. Leaker says on his profile that support for traps has been added to the no-building mode.

Certainly, traps would be an interesting addition that could mix up a lot. You can see from the community votes that many people are really counting on it.

All release dates are, of course, one big unknown. One can only suspect that it is still about the current season, but there is no confirmation of it yet.
