A trick that will keep you alive in Fortnite. This is what every player should know

It is difficult to say if this is a bug, but for now, it works and allows you to easily avoid getting killed.

In Chapter 3 Season 1, Epic brings back many different types of legacy items. One of them is clingers that returned in Update 19.01. These are special, sticky “grenades” from which it would seem that there is no escape.

And yet there is a way, even when the clinger lands directly on the character. At the moment it is not known if this is a bug or maybe Epic planned such a mechanic, but in the 19.20 cycle, it still works.

How to get away from the clinger?

It turns out that you don’t have to be a great player to get away from it, although it does require training. It is enough to use any emote. It works almost every time, as long as you make it in time and don’t panic.

This may be considered an “OP” mechanic, so there is a good chance Epic will decide to fix it in a future update anyway. So far, there is nothing in any bugfixes that talks about clingers and emotes.
