Driving in CS: GO? This seems like a crazy idea but is nothing new in the Counter-Strike series.

Many people who currently play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have never dealt with previous games from the series, such as CS 1.6. Even so, there are still some Valve FPS veterans who remember those times very well. These people are now reminding about the func_vehicle command, which they would also like to see in the CS: GO version.

One of the members of the Reddit community using the name “SometimeHappy” added a post asking:

This is a feature that made it possible to drive vehicles on private servers for fun. In the video below you can see what it looked like in Counter-Strike 1.6.

Of course, this option is not necessary for the game and it will not be possible to use it on official servers. Still, it would be a lot of fun on private servers. Perhaps the developers will decide to wink at their longtime fans and will actually introduce this command in CS: GO, especially since a lot of people want it.
